Robertsville Middle School serves the western end of Oak Ridge. It is located near the intersection of Illinois Avenue and Robertsville Road. On August 17, 675 students were enrolled at Robertsville. In 2007, RMS met all the federal guidelines set forth by the No Child Left Behind Act.

The RMS Golf team swept the District, Regional, and State titles in the middle school division.

On Monday, May 12,The RMS Golf team won the Tennessee State Middle School Championship. Earlier in the season, the team also won the District and Regional titles. Carson Spraker and Tanner Hilton were selected as All-State. Other members on the team include Hayden Hilton, Matthew Reat, Ryan Hughey, Rhen Hughey, and Zach Bondranko. Congratulations to the Rams for their outstanding season!!

Robertsville's annual Talent Show was held on Friday, May 2. The theme was "Middle School Musical" and included several teacher skits based on that theme. Numerous RMS students danced, sang, and played instruments to showcase their individual talents. Walker Fowler served as the emcee for the show. Jeff Kile directed the performance with assistance from Ms. Kinder, Mrs. Helms, Ms. Russell, and Ms. Wilmore.

Robertsville Middle School will again be using K12 Planet, an online resource which will enable students and parents to communicate more effectively and efficiently with RMS staff members. K12 Planet, a product of Chancery School Management System, allows students and parents to access grades, attendance data, homework assignments, and announcements in a secure, online environment. If you and/or your child used K12 Planet last year, you will be able to log on using the same user name and password. If you have not used K12 Planet or are new to RMS, you must read the K12 Planet Privacy Statement and sign the K12 Planet Consent Form. The ORS Board of Education recently revised the attendance policy for the school system. The changes concern the classification of excused and unexcused absences, pre-excused absences, and consequences for excessive absences and tardies. Please click here to download the revised policy.
